It took a lot of courage. Not because I am prude, but because I think I am so ugly. :-)) And the weird thing is, and I noticed this with other people who do a lot of self portraits, too: We seem to think we must justify it somehow, making self portraits. But why? I think it's the ultimate self expression. And we are all sexual creatures. And besides that: Learning about yourself equals learning about other people, too. So that's a good thing. My advice: Just try it! It's very liberating. And I saw you are a real interesting and beautiful woman. I'm sure other people would love to see more of you, too. I know I would! I love self portraits, nude or not. But nudes speak of the 'pure human' more, I think.
